2024 Elections
The following elections will be held in the City of Pequot Lakes at the Cole Memorial Building:
- Presidential Nominating Primary - March 5, 2024
- State Primary - August 13, 2024
- General Election - November 5, 2024
2024 City of Pequot Lakes City Council Election
The following offices will be open for filing in the City of Pequot Lakes.
- Mayor – 2-Year Term; currently held by Tyler Gardner.
- Council Member – 4-Year Term; currently held by Scott Pederson.

Council Member – 4-Year Term; currently held by Pete Clement.
- Special Election to Fill Council Vacancy; currently temporarily held by Laura Larson.
Candidacy filing opens on July 30, 2024 at 8:00 a.m. and closes on August 13, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. The deadline to withdraw is August 15, 2024.

In person at Pequot Lakes City Hall, 4638 Main Street, Pequot Lakes from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (with the exception of August 13th and August 15th the office hours will be from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.);

Filing fee is $2.00.
Voter Registration and Early Voting
Those seeking to register to vote may do so through the Minnesota Secretary of State’s Office or may do so in-person on election day at the Cole Memorial Building.
Residents of Pequot Lakes may vote early in-person or absentee beginning 46 days before an election. In-person early voting and absentee voting is conducted by the Crow Wing County Elections Office located in the Historic Courthouse at 326 Laurel St., Brainerd, MN 56401.
