2026 Elections
The following elections will be held in the City of Pequot Lakes at the Cole Memorial Building:
- State Primary - August 11, 2026
- General Election - November 2, 2026
2026 City of Pequot Lakes City Council Election
The following offices will be open for filing in the City of Pequot Lakes.
- Mayor – 2-Year Term; currently held by Tyler Gardner.
- Council Member – 4-Year Term; currently held by Dan Ronning.

Council Member – 4-Year Term; currently held by Pete Clement.
Candidacy filing opens on July 30, 2026 at 8:00 a.m. and closes on August 11, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. The deadline to withdraw is August 14, 2026.

Filing fee is $2.00.
Voter Registration and Early Voting
Those seeking to register to vote may do so through the Minnesota Secretary of State’s Office or may do so in-person on election day at the Cole Memorial Building.
Residents of Pequot Lakes may vote early in-person or absentee beginning 46 days before an election. In-person early voting and absentee voting is conducted by the Crow Wing County Elections Office located in the Historic Courthouse at 326 Laurel St., Brainerd, MN 56401.
